Travel to the Conference

TRAIN

AMTRAK offers convenient connections for most major cities on the east coast. Pennsylvania Station in Baltimore is about 2 miles from the Inner Harbor. The best way to get to the hotel from there is a short cab ride.

BWI AIRPORT

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, commonly known as BWI, is serviced by a large number of domestic carriers. Check your airline of choice for schedules.

IF DRIVING

FROM the AIRPORT

Exit airport on Route 100. Turn right onto I-95 N. Follow directions seen below – from the South via I-95.

FROM NORTH, VIA THE JONES FALLS EXPRESSWAY, I-83 ("The JFX”, “I-83”, Exit 24 South off I-695)

Follow I-83 until the expressway ends downtown and continue on President Street. Turn right onto Lombard Street and go five blocks to South Street. Make a left onto South Street and an immediate right into the hotel garage.

FROM THE NORTHEAST VIA I-95

Take I-95 south, past the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), all the way through the Fort McHenry Tunnel (NOT the Harbor Tunnel I-895). Take the right-hand tube through the tunnel. Shortly after exiting the tunnel, get off at the exit for I-395 toward Baltimore and the Inner Harbor. Stay to the left as the road splits (toward Conway Street, not MLK Boulevard), then move to the right as you exit the freeway. Turn right at the second light (Pratt Street), and get into the left lane. It becomes a "left-turn-only" lane at Calvert Street; turn left. Immediately turn right into the hotel garage.

FROM THE WEST VIA MD ROUTE 40

From Catonsville and other points west, take Route 40 toward Baltimore. As you approach the downtown area, Route 40 becomes Mulberry Street. Stay on Mulberry to St. Paul (the first street past Charles St.) and turn right. Continue on St. Paul as it becomes Light St. Turn left on Pratt St. and get into the left lane. It becomes a "left-turn-only" lane at Calvert Street; turn left. Immediately turn right into the hotel garage.

FROM THE SOUTH VIA MD ROUTE 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway)

Take MD Route 295 north toward Baltimore. (You will pass both I-695 and the Harbor Tunnel Throughway before entering downtown Baltimore.) The parkway ends as it enters the city, becoming Russell Street. Stay on Russell Street, getting into the right hand lane as you pass Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Make a right turn onto Pratt Street (just past the stadium), and get into the left lane. It becomes a "left-turn-only" lane at Calvert Street; turn left. Immediately turn right into the Hotel garage.

FROM THE SOUTH VIA I-95

Take I-95 north toward Baltimore. As you approach the city, get off at Exit 53 (I-395 North, Downtown) toward Baltimore and the Inner Harbor.

FROM THE EAST VIA MD ROUTE 40
